So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

   You are the height of God’s creation - made in God’s image. God is spirit but He made you with a physical body and a soul that never dies. 

   God made you a moral being and gave you free will to choose and act. He gave you emotions to feel and express yourself, and his creativity to make things of beauty.

  There is no-one righteous, not even one..

..all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

- Romans 3v10,23

  Through the disobedience of the first man and woman, sin entered the world, spoiling the beauty and breaking our relationship with God.

   We have all broken God’s laws and fall short of God’s perfect standard and because God is holy, He cannot accept us as we are and must punish sinners. In fact, if it is not dealt with, our sin will separate us from God forever. 

 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

- John 3v16

   God was not content to leave it there but at great personal cost in sending His Son, Jesus Christ, into the world, He made a way to bring back His prodigal children.

   As a gift of His amazing grace and love He paid for our sins as Jesus offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice in our place. God simply wants us to believe and turn to Him.

Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” 

- Matthew 11v28-30
